Hailing from Pangyo, South Korea, Byung Sik Moon is a master potter who has worked in porcelain for over 20 years. His brand, Moon Do Bang is instantly recognizable for his impressive feats at the wheel, which have captivated audiences around the world on social media. Moon's forms draw on traditional Korean ceramics, such as the iconic moon jar, and this workshop will feature a demonstration of this form along with other techniques such as throwing clockwise, stretching large cylinders, and altering forms.
