Take your decoration strategies to the next level through an understanding of the principles and elements of design in this in-person workshop with Dustin Yager. Adjust these knobs and dials of composition on a 3D form to achieve your decoration goals. Engage in close looking to find what works (and what doesn't) for a variety of surfaces and techniques. This workshop is designed for folks without a traditional arts or design background and is open to beginners. Students will have the opportunity to sketch on paper and discuss concepts. This is not however a hands-on class where students will be getting their hands dirty and practicing design principles on their ceramic work.
